This week, Winstanley connected the peripherals needed to use a Raspberry Pi computer. They considered the purpose for each one:
- Power cable – connects the Pi to the electricity
- Monitor – is the output, it shows us what it’s doing
- Keyboard – is the input, it lets us use the Pi
- Mouse – is an alternative input
- SD card – is the memory – all of the software and programs that tell it what to do are saved on there.
They explored the programs available and particularly enjoyed the Raspbian version of Minecraft.
